Rules & Regulations

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Filled in applications with the following documents are to be submitted before the last date. List of selected candidate will be announced on the notice board.

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission

  1. Copy of II PUC Marks card.
  2. Certificate for Date of Birth (SSLC Record)
  3. Transfer Certificate
  4. Income Certificate (for fee concession)
  5. Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/Cat-I/IIA/IIB/IIIA/IIIB)
  6. Three Passport size photograph of the candidate
  7. Eligibility certificate for candidate from other states.

NOTE : Incomplete applications without proper documents will be rejected. Attach only attested copies of certificates along with  the  application. Originals are to be produced at the time of admission.

IDENTITY CARD

Every student is provided with an identity card affixed with his / her attested Photograph. The student is required to keep the identity card with them and produce the same for verification,

ATTENDANCE

As per the Rules and Regulations of the University of Mysore, Mysuru 75% of attendance is compulsory. Students who have more than 60% and less than 75% attendance are eligible to appear for the examination on payment of a penal fee fixed by the University of Mysore.

DISCIPLINARY RULES

Students should strictly follow the following college rules.

  1. Student must be regular and punctual to classes, practical’s and such other academic exercises.
  2. Any unlawful activity in the college is strictly prohibited.
  3. Students are required to keep their identity cards and produce the same for verification.
  4. Students should be neat and wear tidy dresses avoiding expensive and exaggerated fashions.
  5. Strangers and the students of other colleges and institutions are not allowed to enter the college premises without valid reasons.
  6. Students whose conduct, attendance, progress etc., are not satisfactory are liable for disciplinary actions.
  7. Students should maintain the campus clean. They are forbidden from writing on the walls.
  8. The power to impose any disciplinary action or to levy fine vests with the principal. The principal’s decision is final.
  9. Using Mobile Phones inside the campus is strictly prohibited.

TESTS AND EXAMINATIONS FOR INTERNAL ASSESSMENT

Monthly tests and assignments are compulsory for the purpose of internal assessment. The continuous student’s assessment is made as per the semester regulations of the University of Mysore, Mysore. Marks are awarded on the basis of test and assignments.

As per the regulations of the University of Mysore every student has to complete her / her course within a span of 6 years from the date of his / her admission.
